Mentorship
Real introductions between women earlier on the path and women further along it. One conversation at a time, slowly building a network you can actually use.
A network you can use →Iradda is a women's empowerment NGO based in India. We take gender policy research and turn it into things women can actually use: mentors, workshops, networks, and access to opportunities they wouldn't otherwise see.
About
Research on gender equality in India keeps getting better. The women it's written for almost never see it. It stays inside policy reports and conferences, then quietly disappears.
Iradda was started by an engineer and a policy researcher to fix that. Ishika interned at NITI Aayog (the Prime Minister's Office of India). Vishesh studies engineering at RMIT in Melbourne. Together we're building the missing layer: the place where research actually becomes useful.
Our Mission
There has never been more research on what would help Indian women. Most of it never reaches them. We're building the framework that does.
Real introductions between women earlier on the path and women further along it. One conversation at a time, slowly building a network you can actually use.
A network you can use →Workshops and resources built around what women actually ask for: career, money, communication, confidence. Things you can take into the room with you.
Tools for the path →Everything we do is grounded in research from NITI Aayog and similar institutions. We don't guess what works. We start with what the data already says.
Built on evidence →What we believe
Most of the gender policy research written about Indian women never reaches Indian women. The bridge between research and lived experience is mostly missing. So we're building it.
